  • Bradley Pac negotiations have reached a snag...

The negotiations between Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley have hit a snag, according to Fighthype. It seems that Top Rank wants to lock the 30-year-old Bradley into a multi-fight contract extension as part of giving him the second fight against the 35-year-old Pacquiao. In other words, for Bradley to get the rematch with Pacquiao, he’ll have to re-sign with Top Rank for a certain amount of fights, even though it’s Top Rank who wants Bradley to fight Pacquiao in the first place.

Bradley’s contract with the company is said to be done by the end of the year. Bradley still has at least one fight left in his current contract with Top Rank after the Pacquiao bout, and it’s unclear why they would push for him to re-sign right now rather waiting for his final fight of the year to attempt to re-sign him.

edit: found this on another site

Didn't Bradley's trainer just say if the money's right, then they'll be down for an extension?

I just read 3 different things on this subject.

Bradley is down to sign the extension
        Negotiations hit a snag
Ruslan is tweeting that he wants to fight Pac.

It makes sense for TR to sign him up now instead of waiting till his next fight. I doubt his next fight is against a bigger opponent than Pacquiao. Their going to invest alot of money in this event so they want some return from their investment. It was pretty clear this would be brought up in order to get the fight signed.

Obviously TR is looking out for themselves, but Bradley should do the same and if staying with TR doesn't benefit his team he shouldn't agree to this and pursue a Mayweather fight with GBP.

Bradley deserves these Pay Day's and he'll make way more with Top Rank/HBO than Showtime/GBP.

Showtime working with a smaller budget than HBO and Bradley is getting his minimums raised.
How much did he make against that ESPN level fighter again? Ohhh yea
