If Top Rank offers him $2 million minimums pee fight how can anyone fault him for taking that?
he could choose to reach for the stars and build his profile by beating the better fighters in the golden boy stable. if he fights floyd - which i think is certainly on the cards if he switches to gbp - he could elevate his commercial status far beyond anything top rank can provide

GBP is having trouble building Danny Garcia into a star. What makes you think they can do anything with Bradley?

Ortiz and Guerrero fought Floyd and their careers have turned to ****. Maidana beat Broner and all that got him was a rematch. Alexander's career is on the down swing. Khan is on the verge of being cashed out.

Who are these welterweight stars that GBP is building?

Every single welterweight and junior welterweight on Golden Boy's roster would love to switch positions with Timothy Bradley at the drop of a dime.

Dont do it timmy! dont extend with that devil. All bob is gonna do is recycle you the same fights over and over and over. Can you Imagine if bradley went to goldenboy? All of the different fights at 147 that are available.

PS: Personal opinion, but I believe that a danny garcia/Bradley fight has to be one of the most evenly contested match ups that can be made in boxing right now. Such a close fight, maybe a SLIGHT edge to bradley because of his work rate but danny has the game changer with the philly left hook.

Golden Boy doesn't build stars. They build opponents for Floyd.

            Think about it.

the point is that i think bradley is better than those guys and would ultimately rise to the top of the pile. and gbp can provide him with a bigger pile than top rank can. the more opponents he fights, the more media coverage he gets, and his purses would rise in conjunction with his profile. and of course the big pay day against mayweather would probably bring in more than anything top rank can provide anyway. if bradley dares to be great the financial rewards will follow - because he is actually good enough to be great, or at least something approaching that.

                  Think about it.
that's deceptive as if any of floyd's opponents had managed to actually beat him then their profile would have sky-rocketed. it's not gbp's fault if floyd is too good.

OK, But who can bradley fight? lol. Marquez and Pac are both getting old and on the tail end of their careers. **** alvrado is on the end of his career too. So that leaves two options, Ruslan and Rios lol. So is bradley going to keep having rematches with rios/ruslan over the next 5 years?

If boxing worked the way a sport should work, I would agree with you.

But in boxing you can be an Olympic Gold Medalist, that cleaned out his division, is the perfect citizen and currently the #2 pound for pound fighter in the world; and still not get the pay and recognition that lesser accomplished fighters are getting.

I don't think Bradley will ever reach that level of stardom and financial reward by going over to the other side.
