After the rematch against Abner Mares was postponed , WBC featherweight champion Jhonny González might face a Romanian fighter, according to his trainer Ignacio Beristain.


None other than Viorel Simion, who’s a top ten ranked fighter. Beristain said that Gonzalez will learn a lot from this fight. It'll help him with rhythm, reflexes and timing before once again facing Mares by May this year.
