Because One guy is the king of his division who fought all the top guys while the other guy is in the process of trying to start it

Look for him to fight Kashtonov next.
yeah he's kind of his own worst enemy. he wants the money fights but is not willing to concede anything to make them ... he could have easily made the froch rematch in the UK for big bucks ... would get a good payday in germany v steiglitz but he won't go to germany etc. etc.

This right here! Super Middleweight is dead right now. Who's he waiting for? Chavez? Lol move up to lhw and fight some thumpers. Even a fight with pascal would be better than Jr.

Yeah. Not much warrior spirit lost there. Even though Kessler got shafted in jOakland, he still didn't mind travelling again. Ward is the Sven Ottke of this generation.

I think people are being a little unfair towards ward what fighter doesnt fight at home especially when hes the champion floyd lives in vegas thats his home town since grand rapids, dela hoya did aswell, alot of fight fans slag off fighters who never went oversees yet did good at home defending what they earned if you want something you better go earn it,people keep saying theres lotsa fights at 175lbs but all there calling for is 2 fights stevensen and kovalev then what? bellew cleverly? the talent pool is greater from MW SMW than it is at LHW and ward doesnt look as naturally big as kovalev and stevensen, theres fighters out there like stieglitz chavez jr periban sturm groves dirrell kastanov Oosthuizen vlasov jack even froch, and murray golovkin might come up and i would like to see martinez go for ward but that i doubt.

Most boxing fans don't wanna see mismatches. That's all it is. And I'm one of them.

Ward has the problem of having floyd type domination, yet does not bring the floyd type payday for opponents

Ward is elite as it gets...but he may be sniffing his own farts too much. He doesnt seem to get or want to face that he has to make a name for himself despite his past success. he could be a little scared of losing his 0, tho I do not for a second think anyone at 168 can beat him.

Actually, Ward called for this rematch... At the Froch-Kessler II, Ward asked Hearn for a Froch rematch in the UK -- with Wembley stadium as venue. I think that Ward asked for a huge purse and Hearn didn't agree upon...

I guess you haven't enjoyed a Ward fight since 2011 then.
