Can see Froch vacating, and going ahead with a Chavez fight.

An immediate rematch with Froch not being allowed a fight inbetween is unreasonable. Froch did his job and beat his mandatory and if the referee made a bad call that is not his fault.

Weird decision when you think about it. Something smells wrong about this.

Brilliant decision, Froch will vacate and keep the WBA belt. This was the last thing Froch wanted, because he'll be seen as a duck if he vacates now.

Chavez Jr. wouldn't fight Froch for s**ts and giggles, he'd want a world title on the line.

Maybe now we'll get Froch vs. Groves II and Chavez Jr. vs. Bika. If somehow Froch and Chavez Jr. pulled off victories a unification later this year would be huge.

Great decision! Hopefully it may make some of these dodgy UK promoters think twice before applying their subtle pressure to refs.

                    Groves got lucky.

Froch will make him pay; I predict a brutal stoppage. It'll be a career-ending fight for Ugly Kid

haha, just saw this on sky sports aswell - I can just imagine how angry Froch is going to be now with Groves' "childish whining" actually getting him what he wanted in the end. I don't think Froch will vacate the belt as that will discredit all comments like "i'll fight anyone" and "if the money is right". If this goes ahead, the pre-fight should be very interesting!

BTW, apparently yeah it is literally almost an immediate match...they are saying it has to be done within 90 days...I thought just to be announced within 90 but really they would need to get into training camp pretty soon...
