Oh, and let's not forget San Antonio. My God, how often do they fight there? I feel like that's the new California.
Chavez Jr is fighting at the Alamodome in SA. The one place in CA that really has only done GBP fights is the Staples Center. Can't remember the last time TR put on a card there.

Showtime had 13 cards last year, not including Shobox or PPV fights. There's no way 12 of those were in Barclay's. I know they started that new show on Fox Sports 1, but I don't think any of those were in Barclay's.

Maybe someone can do some more research and get a definitive answer, but I doubt they had 12 shows last year

A lot of good info in this thread, didn't know they had contracts with these venues.

        Green on the way.

AEG is a partner of Golden Boy Promotions so you'll often see GBP fights at Staples, Stub Hub (formerly Home Depot Center), and Barclay's. But there's also been Top Rank fights at Staples and Stub Hub so it's not like one is reserved for one company only.

Last time I checked Golden Boy held:

              Canelo vs Mayweather (MGM)
              Cotto vs Trout (MSG)
              Canelo vs Trout (Alamodome)
              Hopkins vs Murat (Boardwalk Hall)
              Khan vs Diaz (Motorpoint Arena)
Mares vs Gonzales (Home Depot Center)
              Mares vs Moreno (Staples Center)

              So, to answer your question...NO!

promotors definitely have relationships with venues.

                  3/9/13 Hopkins-Cloud
4/18/13-4/19/13 - NY Golden Gloves (not GBP)
                  4/27/13 Garcia-Judah
                  6/13/13 Malignaggi-Broner
9/30/13 Ali-Krupp (not sure if this was GBP even)
                  12/7/13 Judah-Malignaggi

These are the only boxing events that were listed on the venue's calender since it opened in 2012.

                    Good point.

Other than GBP's Barclays deal and Arum's desal with the Macau Hotel I don't think promoters are exclusive to big venues but they definitely have business relationships.
