Khan will give Floyd his toughest fight in years

    I'm sure of it.

People keep going on about Khan's suspect chin, but has Floyd got the power to take advantage of that? I don't think so. Plus Khan's chin isn't THAT bad. I mean it's not a rock, but people often exaggerate how weak it is. The guy took quite a few big shots from Maidana, who's one of the hardest P4P punchers in the sport, and managed to survive without going down.

Khan's speed and combination punching will cause Floyd all sorts of problems imo, especially in the first half of the fight. I don't wanna hear any of this 'once Floyd starts timing him, it's over!' BS followed by the suggestion that Floyd should be fighting Maidana or D.Garcia, who would both get shut out easily. At least Khan will give him a few problems in patches and win some rounds.

I don't care who 'deserves' a shot at Floyd, I care about who's gonna give him the best fight. And Khan will certainly give him a better fight than slow, flat-footed snails like D.Garcia and Maidana. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see Floyd man up and fight Pac, Lara or GGG/Martinez, who've both offered to come down to 154 to fight, but out of the names Floyd is willing to get in the ring with, Khan is the best option imo.

I think this fight will go the distance, but even if it doesn't, it'll be competitive for as long as it lasts imo. I predict that Floyd will win a close UD or a SD.

Khan is going to surprise a lot of people.

I can respect your points and agree khan has a far different skill set than floyd's most recent opposition, but I just don't agree. If they fight, I can't see Khan making it tough.

Fair enough, I don't expect many to agree with me.

I like this fight, but it once again exposes what an idiotic, double-standard hypocrite Floyd is. 'I won't fight Pac cos he's lost recently, but I'll fight Khan'. Utter lunacy.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm holding pretty firm that Mayweather stops Khan. I can definitely see Khan giving Mayweather fits early on though.

If its the old Khan that turns up then yeah it could be a good fight, But if he come's in as the slowed down version under Hunter that we saw against Diaz, he'll have success for the first few rounds the floyds gonna figure him out, i wish he was still with Freddie for this fight.

At least Khan isn't some flat footed slow brawler . Styles do make fights and while Khan Does possess speed and movement, he never fought at 147 and he's been on the decline for a couple years.. He may come out blazing but as soon as he eats a right hand he doesn't see, he's gonna be tap dancing all over the ring.. Easy win for Floyd..maybe even a KO inside 7 rounds...

Sorry, khan is going to do nothing. It will be very apparent by the 3-4th round Amir will have nothing for Floyd. Floyd will not KO Amir, even though the chances will be there.

Anyone that knows anything about khan knows that his kryptonite is the left hook. He can't defend one to save his life. Or career. Or legacy.

Well, I think you know he was just jabbing manny when he said what he said, which wasn't this.

don't they have to announce the fight before you reach a conclusion on what it says about floyd?
