So Mikey wants to jump from 130 to 147. That's sounds crazy to me, no fights at 140 just 130 to 147 to fight PAC huh. Rocky Martinez knocked Garcia down and he is pillow fisted. Man it amazes me how the Garcia team let that scumbag ariza talk about anything. Too fast is what i think, I know it's unlikely but I hope Pacman eats Bradley s heart for breakfast like he did Hatton and Margarito. There is only one man who is a 8 weight division champion and it will be a long time until someone does it again. But good luck to you Mikey I'm sure it will be a good fight in Saturday. But if you loose, get the truck outta here. Ariza needs to truck off too regardless.

I believe Pacquiao knocks out Garcia if they fight this year. In two years... It might be a different story.

Comments Thread For: Mikey, Robert Garcia, Ariza Welcome Pacquiao Possibility
Any idea of what lies ahead for rising star Mikey Garcia was revealed by Alex Ariza, the always chatty strength and conditioning coach, who said that when Garcia faces Juan Carlos Burgos at Madison Square Garden on Saturday for Garcia's junior lightweight title, it will be his final fight at 130 pounds.
The implication was clear: Garcia is big-game hunting, in search of a high-profile opponent later this year, either against Cuban star Yuriorkis Gamboa or an even bigger fish in Manny Pacquiao.
In other words, Garcia is planning on doing what Pacquiao once did: climb multiple weight divisions with an eye on dominating the sport. Sitting in the corner of the Kingsway Gym on Tuesday in Manhattan, Ariza calmly described the game plan for Garcia moving forward.
