Angulo is a warrior. That would never work.

You should listen to IronDan....the man loves his daughter, he wouldn't take that kind of damage if he didn't have too. Furthermore, warriors don't break down into tears for no reason....the guy didn't have his mind in the right place and had doubts about his abilities heading into the fight.

Then why not go down? Staying on your feet and complaining is gonna make people even more su****ious about the stoppage. He took a lot of big shots where he could have taken a realistic looking dive, but he didn't.

Oh and one more little reason it wasn't fixed : beating Canelo would most likely guarantee Angulo more money than what Haymon/GBP paid him.
