I think Canelos chin will get checked. Canelo actually has a good defense.Great offense. His problem is he can only do one or the other. I'm interested in seeing how he has improved in that aspect.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but if Angulo puts a whooping/KO's Canelo get ready for an endless amount of " got beaten like a red-headed step child" posts.

They did a great job of selling Angulo. Virgil Hunter's gym is a bunch of characters... He (Angulo) made me a fan with his genuine emotion with his daughter and talking about Virgil as a father figure. Lots of heart. Whereas Canelo seems so robotic and wooden....


How much bearing this will all actually have on the fight is not known... It kind of tells me Canelo will have to constantly out box this guy... Perro is coming in with all the heart in the world he will be difficult to deny inside. I also saw Canelo training more for strength than finesse... From what little I saw. Could be wrong.

He's actually gonna go toe to toe with this guy? I tend to think Canelo ain't as mentally tough as Perro...... Their plan should be to box the guy and find holes in his defense and exploit those, maybe push for a stoppage late.
