Ortiz vs Collazo on a Thursday?

Dont really consider it a low blow, and i consider this a good thing for boxing. Fox sports has done some good things by having fights on Monday and now thursday. The more the merrier.

I mean more of a personal low blow for him.. Not being able to land a comeback date with a major network..

Im an Ortiz fan thru and thru.. I dont agree with his past decisions but I still support him..

I hope he gets to show that hate for Canelo in the ring one day with him..

I got Wartiz beating Collazo. Yes Luis has something in the tank, but he hasn't fought anyone lately that can bring it like Victor. But of course you have to take the rust factor into account with Ortiz as well. Very intriguing fight.

I so glad so many of you guys are sleeping on Louie, Louie, Louieee..When I heard that this fight was made, I said the boxing Gods have thrown my man Collazo a bone.. I got Collazo winning this fight by SD or UD and getting back on track.

I am one of the few people who thinks he beats him

Ortiz lost a lot of rep with the quits against Maidana and Lopez. The KO by Mayweather after the fouls hurt him too. Add to that the stepping away from boxing and getting all hollywood, to put him near the bottom of all Mexican American fighters. It looks like the fans, promoters and networks don't put much stock in him anymore. He's going to have to earn his way back into prime time boxing.

It's funny you say that because Collazo has been a victim of one of one of the worst judging in the sport. If anybody knows what it feels like to get robbed, it's Collazo..

Canelo's next date is July 26th.

I heard April 26th at StubHub Center in L.A. is a possibility for Ortiz's next fight if he beats Collazo. Probably a more high profile fight. If he gets through those two fights without any cuts, injuries, etc., I think he's almost a lock to fight Canelo on 7/26.
