      Fixed fight!!!!

Bob Arum is sensing Pac will not re-sign. He doesn't want Pac leaving being a "HOT" fighter so he matches Pac vs Mikey with Garcia getting a very controversial decision. Pac will want to avenge that loss thus re-signing and if he doesn't take the bait Pacs stock will have taken a hit..other great fighters who have left .TR have taken an L before doing so. PASS THE WORD!!!!!!!

Indeed. All Mikey himself has said is that he would be open to a possible fight with Pacquiao in the future. It is his promoter and brother who have been all eager for him to fight Pacquiao soon. If Garcia is serious about moving up in weight, I think it would probably take him 2-3 years to properly get to welterweight. And that is on the fast end.I would have no problem if Garcia were fighting at 135 two years from now.

I'd want to see Mikey vs. Provodnikov before Pacquiao.

There are only two major paydays in boxing - Pacquiao or Mayweather. Let's be honest, Garcia is NEVER getting Mayweather. That leaves Pacquiao, who is not going to be around for much longer. Top Rank wants to make Pacquiao-Garcia sooner than later. They are running out of opponents for Manny. Lets say he beats Bradley. Who's next Provodnikov? Bradley trilogy? Marquez 5? Plus Manny's contract is ending, it is realistic that he might not resign with TR and remain a free agent to face Mayweather. On that end, nothing would be better than putting Garcia in a major fight where, even if he loses, gets that major fight PPV exposure.

Just another **** and disgraceful fight... Add it to the Clottey, Margartio, Mosley and Rios fights.

Margarito was a great fight, payed the 50 bucks and every cent was worth it. But your right in some aspect, pacquiao is on another level compared to the names you mentioned.

If Mikey gets past Burgos I'd like to see him fight Uchiyama and another one of the better fighters at 130(Barthelemy,Miura,Mendez) before moving up to lightweight where he can find more good fights (Vazquez,Abril,Crawford,Figueroa). I'd love to see a Gamboa fight at 130 or 135 as well. If he could get through that gauntlet undefeated he will definitely be one of the money men in boxing.

Many said the same thing about the SFW/LW Pacquiao...

Why is this fight even being discussed?
