Is it comfy under the bridge? when you have competed at the level of any of these guys, then you can say if they're good or not.

Some people follow Matts and some Garcia, which I assume would have continued for either fighter regardless of the result.

Every once in a while some fluke event takes place in a fight and it has a clear impact on the result of the fight:

Klitschko's cut vs. Lewis
Ali's jaw being broke vs. Norton
Matthysee's eye swelling shut vs. Garcia

There is no reason to believe that Matthysee will be any different than the other names on this list. Klitschko and Ali both bounced back in a major way, and Matthysee will undoubtedly do the same. He was, after all, winning his fight vs. Garcia until he was fighting with just one eye.

It's also worth noting that Garcia has no desire to fight Matthysee again, and was hesitant in the first place.

Bottom line: Matthysee will be fine.
