    george groves.

so, if groves beats froch in a rematch by UD or KO/TKO, would groves be considered an elite boxer? a potential hof-er? or would that be "too much" of a praise/hype? (considering froch's age/condition)

Yea, wtf? TS is getting a little ahead of himself. I believe Groves is solid and will beat Froch, given the opportunity, but he's got a lot to prove on the elite level.

Froch is at the end of his career so no. It'd be a good win over a guy who is obviously quite faded.

Groves isn't even that good tbh, Froch would beat him again in a rematch. He looks way too vulnerable at the best of times and I question his conditioning, put the two together and it's a bad combination. I think he'll pick up a belt and some good wins but pressure him and he doesn't like it.

honestly i think Groves wanting a rematch is the wrong move for him. He clearly outclassed Froch in that fight, but Froch did expose a tiny flaw in his game. Discipline. Groves was thoroughly the more sound fighter but he had no business initiating some of the exchanges in the later rounds before the stoppage. When he becomes disciplined enough to know exactly when to box and when to exchange he'll be elite at 168.

Fighting and beating Froch officially proves nothing. He already dominated the guy and quite frankly embarrassed him. He should be pursuing other opportunities. Just because Froch II is the payday doesn't mean it's the smartest option for the career.
