He is not talking complete nonsense. When an athlete from a socialist country defects to a western capitalist country, he often has no clue how things work in professional sports, and gets himself into a mess as a consequence. There were soccer players who got themselves suspended because they didn't know the rules of the transfer market, business ethics etc.

He is good enough to remain undefeated no matter who he has fought despite some knock downs. He has great speed, good power, good defense when he chooses to go defensive, he has clear cut decisive wins over Salido and de leon and Mtogwa to name a few. He is more than capable of giving Mikey Garcia a rough night but im sure you already know all of this. :-)

How do you turn this post about Manny's people throwing smokescreens into something negative about Floyd? Floyd is coming off one the biggest fights in the history of boxing. Manny is coming off a lackluster fight against Rios, and 2 losses (1 was a KO). Here you are talking about "Manny is doing something." What is he doing?

That's exactly the issue with him imo. He has good defense when he concentrates solely on it. He can't attack and defend at the same time. He either runs around dodging or stops and throws very fast but wild flurries leaving himself wide open. Mikey, a very patient and cerebral fighter with great fundamentals and counterpunching ability, is a nightmare matchup for him imo.

There is no need to divert the public's attention from Gamboa calling out Garcia. At this point, the public is not paying any attention to what Gamboa says or does.

He just knows TR would never give him Pacquiao. Why would they! Besides, if Arum really wanted Garcia to fight Gamboa, the fight would have been made or at least there wouldn't be any complications. Instead Arum is making all kinds of dumb excuses to prevent the fight from happening. He had no problem setting Rios (someone much bigger than Gamboa) to fight Gamboa but when the playing field is just about even Arum doesn't want to risk having his future cash cow in Mikey Garcia take a loss.

My whole point is if you want the big fights with either Top Rank, or Golden Boy he's going to have to be nice and play ball. It's actually his fault to begin with. Had he stayed with Top Rank, he would still be relevant. He would have beaten Rios IMO, and would have been in line for some nice paychecks.

Instead he walked out of that fight, threw a huge fit, left top rank to sign with 50 cent, and right now his career is basically non existent. He should be happy that Koncz threw his name out there as a possible Pacquiao opponent, it at least had people talking about him.
