Wow so instead of saying, hey we're willing to take the fight with Pacquiao lets make that happen, he's saying Top Rank is protecting their fighter Garcia?

Why would he be trying to ruffle top ranks feathers when he knows he needs them for a big fight?

His whole career shows ever increasing instability in his attitudes and pronouncements. He's made a shambles of his career ever since he made that mess-up with Top Rnk. He cost Curtis Jackson (and Phoney Phloyd) $1.25 mill to buy out his contract from Top Rank after which Phoney let Jackson down and reneged on his money share.

I suppose that when he was in Cuba, the government controlled boxing department wouldn't allow any nonsense from their fighters. The American freedom of expression and action have unbalanced him.

People seem to have forgotten that Gamboa spent a couple years away from fighting any real competition and what he has done has looked piss poor. Mikey beats him right now, no doubt.

There is a curse when a cash cow began to use excuses and sub estimate the other. Gambia is training out of Miami and is taking seriously his career. For sure this excuses for avoid him will be a great upset for Mickey. In his favor is that Mickey himself is not making expressions, but his promoters are. Something like this happened to Donaire with Rigo, saying him was not worthy to a fight with him, and everybody know what happened.
