Former two-division world champion Juan Manuel Lopez will have to answer for an alleged assault accusation on January 28th. when the boxer appears in a Caguas courtroom. On January 13th, Juanma, and his friend Pedro Rivera Pabon, allegedly went after 25-year-old Angel Matta at a cellphone story in Cagua.

There were issues in the past between Pabon and Matta. Some words were exchanged and then Pabon threw a punch. Matta was able to dodge the blow, but not before Juanma allegedly grazed his ear with another punch.
