    George Groves v Lucian Bute/Jean Pascal - SMW - Who wins/how?

Would Groves beat either or both at Super Middle Weight? Would these names be good for his resume? Could these fights be made? Could these be good options if Groves can't get the Froch rematch or a Ward fight/another immediate title fight?

Both probably have a chance at stopping him, but I'd pick him to beat them both.

I like Groves he's good but a bit green. I think he was about to gas out in the Froch fight because he didn't pace himself but maybe he learned from that experience for his next bout.If he didn't, then seasoned opposition is gonna be a problem for him.

Not a fan of triangle theories but in the case of the one that got crushed by Froch versus the one that made him look bad in his last fight, I'd go with Groves.

He's got a good chance at beating them both frankly.

Yep, some good analysis there, that's the long and short of it.

I think at this point he would blast out Bute early, in similar to fashion to Froch's win but earlier, I think Bute is all done in at this point. And with Groves' stamina problems he would likely want to end it earlier. The Pascal fight is a tougher one, much closer to call, but I suppose at this point Groves has a 60-40 chance of winning.

I voted that he beats them both. I thought they both looked terrible yesterday. Bute needs to retire because his heart does not seem to be in boxing anymore. He is too gun shy to throw punches. Pascal fought his best but his problem is his best is not very good. A young boxer in his prime should throw more than 30 punches a round. He is a spurt fighter and he lacks the stamina to keep up an attack and he is often sloppy and off balance. He is also a very dirty fighter. I don't think Pascal will ever win a belt again. There are lots of light heavyweights that will beat him.

Groves would easily beat Bute, but Pascal's speed and reflexes would negate a lot of his attacks, making it into a longer fight. I'd predict a Groves KO/TKO over Bute, and a UD over Pascal only because Pasc doesn't throw enough.
