    According to a report by Courier Mail, former welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (37-4, 22KOs) is being considered as the late replacement for Anthony Mundine (45-5, 27KOs), who returns on January 29th in Brisbane. Mundune's original opponent, Carson Jones, withdrew with the flu.

    With ten days remaining before the show, promoter Khoder Nasser is desperately trying to find a new opponent.

      Short notice opponents can be either a gift or a curse..they may be lesser talented than the person they are replacing but you don't have time to properly train to use your strengths against them. For some reason it seems though that fill-in guys end up looking better than they should.

            Mundine dethroned Mosley who is a legend and we all know "when you beatttt a layginddd you becommmee a laygind". This Clottey fight will cement Mundine's legacy as p4p ATG.
