He could come back at 48 if he wanted to and still beat whoever is on top 10 years from now. You say 100 million won't last him long, yet he already has that, and he's due to make another 100 million plus over the nest 2 years not including his residual checks. just stop there cuz you obviously do not know wtf you are talking about.
Residuals for what? If there some windfall in royalties for re-airing his fights? DVDs? That's chump change. Maybe if he starred in several blockbuster movies. It's possible his promoting boxers will pay off, depends if he hits the lottery with a couple boxers who hit the big time. Likelihood is more a down to earth income for a while. Then when he has no bankroll to bankroll fight cards, he's sunk.

The only way he's still afloat 10 years down the line is if he goes in with some other investors in his biz of promoting boxers... and assuming that entity turns out to be successful. Which is a maybe. His boxing record and a few bucks will get him a cup of coffee, but that's about it. No one cares how good your career was when you're broke.

OK I don't know if Mayweather will go broke or not but neither do you. So why are you acting like its 100 percent fact that he won't?

Floyd can go broke... Will he ? It is up to him to avoid that. To guarantee that floyd won't go broke is absurd. Nobody knows what the future holds for us. History proves that athletes have a tendency to handle money poorly. Floyd has shown in the past that he needs to fight in order to keep up with his lifestyle. A boxer of his caliber feeds off to the fame and glory. If he feels like he needs win more he is uncomfortable so that's probably why he resorts to ********. He feeds off of wins. When he retires and he becomes irrelevant will see how he handles it.

                Larry is just hating..

I always liked Larry because he with lay down for no one. Even in his fight against Tyson I feel if the ref wouldn't have been so protected Larry just might have pulled it together and make a decent fight out of it. But right now Larry is hating and with good reason. After Floyd there won't be another fighter out there that can demand the kind of pay Floyd gets. $32-40mil per fight, hell Larry, Ali, Ray and others combined couldn't make that much in 3 yrs. So I can see why Larry is hating. But as for Floyd going broke, Larry and others can dream on. This is a totally new era of boxers and Floyd isnt dealing with the likes of Don King and those other blood suckers Larry had to deal with. Larry lost his fortune because of the way boxers did business back then. Sorry champ Floyd will lose some cash here & there but he ain't about to go broke. Sad though that Larry is going this route, I would think a brother would pull another brother to the side a speak on the matter man to man and not show once again how blacks love to tear one another down over money.... Larry you really disappointed those who still look upon you as a great champion. Now we must turn our backs on you champ, see your statement alone has make it so that the black race can't afford having you speaking on our behalf anymore

Probably a decent chance of it happening, many professional athletes end up broke but I don't think Holmes should have came out and said it.
