Could Amir Khan be Mayweather's Ken Norton

I feel like Amir Khan possesses the tools to make Mayweather look bad -- A+ hand speed, elite foot speed, power, heart, and experience.

Khan's weakness is punchers. Mayweather is not a puncher, so Khan should be comfortable in the exchanges and just in general.

Also, Mayweather's lateral movement is not as good as Erislandy Lara's. It's not as sharp and he doesn't cover as much distance as Lara does in one step while maintaining balance and readiness to punch.

Don't get me wrong. I am a Mayweather fan, but something tells me Khan is Ken Norton to Mayweather's Muhammad Ali.

If the Khan that stopped Zab Judah shows up against Mayweather, I am placing a bet on him. The odds would be very profitable.

    Also, a Mayweather-Khan fight could look a lot like Hopkins-Taylor I.

DAE agree? I respect all intelligent, thought-out opinions. I don't buy in to the media hype of either boxer. I try to look at this match-up as objectively as I can.

That actually makes a bit of sense, i wouldn't count on it though.

Khan is going to cause Mayweather a tonne of problems until about the 3rd. In the 3rd round Mayweather will find his rhythm and starts to time Khan. From here it is only a matter of time until Khan gets KO'd.

Khan is very open to be hit when he attacks and throws flurries. Mayweather is a super counter puncher and will exploit Khan's inability to cover up when firing his shots. This is a really easy fight for Mayweather you will have to go back a long way to find an easier one.

I have to admit, it's going to be fun to see NSB hype this **** if it happens. This is why boxing fans can't have nice things, we're too willing to accept and make excuses for bad fights.

Khan starts off very well -- knocked down Maidana in the first round and was beating up Garcia in the early rounds until he got clipped coming in reckless. I don't think Mayweather starts off that good nor does Adrien Broner.

If Floyd wants, he can easily KO Khan.

I don't know two years ago, but at this momento Khan looks like Chuck Wepner to Mayweather's Ali.

This is an exhibition more than a real fight.

So you think Khan is capable of not only beating Mayweather, but arguably beating him on three separate occasions?

Kids, this is what happens when you forget to take your medication.
