Sergio's not a huge MW but he's a solid one. He comes to the ring about 170 lbs.

Cotto will be very small compared to Sergio.

I just don't see it going well for Cotto he's going to hit a lot and hurt a lot.
Yeah, I can totally see that but last time I saw serg he looked old and broken down and now it's over a year later,,, Father Time catches up to everyone and if cotto keeps his high guard nice and tight serg is going to have trouble landing..

I just think serg will be battling Father Time more than cotto and Father Time has a record of 100,002,458-3 with 3 losses to Archie Moore, foreman and Hopkins,,,,,

A tight high guard which he had vs Floyd, with an active double jab and body shots could spell defeat for serg...

I get why serg would be the favorite, just playing devils advocate

Cotto won't be able to get close enough to Martinez to land his body shots. Martinez will land his straight to the body every time Cotto rushes him. People don't seem to realize that Cotto is much smaller than Martinez's previous opponents. If guys like Pavlik and Chavez Jr., who both hit much harder than Cotto, couldn't stop Martinez, Cotto probably cannot. Cotto is not a huge puncher at 154 and probably will be average at best at 160.

Solid view point but realize that cotto is way better than pavlik and Chavez,,, cotto is a legit first ballot hall of famer and the best fighter serg will ever fight.. Cotto is going to get his shots off unlike pavlik and Chavez,,, cotto isn't some boozer or pothead

Pavilk and Chavez are better and more proven at 160 than Cotto. Cotto hasn't done much at 154, let alone jump into 160. Cotto might be the best name, but not the toughest fight he'll have fought. Unless sergio is basically on life support there's no way he should lose to miguel cotto at 160 lbs.

Good luck to Cotto taking Martinez's punches. I can't get the Trout fight out of my head, and I was really rooting for Cotto in that one. But if Floyd Mayweather and Austin Trout are stunning you, you aren't taking Martinez's punches. But hypothetically, if Cotto won, imagine the promotion for a rematch with Mayweather. Cotto would be THE middleweight champion of the world, not just a paper champion like Golovkin, Quillin, and Sturm. Mayweather could capture the lineal championship at middleweight. People would probably argue that Cotto was a rejuvenated beast.

I give Collazo a very good chance at winning! Mr. Hollywood hasn't fought in a long time. It's a dumb come back fight for Ortiz, Collazo is no push over and he's coming to win.

You guys have solid posts,,, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say cotto beats serg,,,, serg is old and broken down, been over a year since he last fought, ring rust, old age will all catch up to him,,, plus the rican crowd gonna sway the judges,,, this gonna be a repeat of Duran-Moore

                Don't doubt cotto,,,

I'd say Phillip N'dou. Hes won 4 in a row with 2 coming by KO.

Really, I cannot see any point in an Ortiz rematch. He lost every round first time around and mentally broke down very quickly.

I agree but the drama at the end will be the selling point.. Ortiz just has to look good vs collazo and I think he gets the rematch,,, easy cash grab for Floyd
