    can I wear normal tassles for boxing boots?

    Like the ones u can get for curtains,bags etc that aren't attached to anything?

      Well... I'm sure you could. I don't know much about sewing or putting these DIY projects together but I believe it could work. Just make sure you pick the right type of tassels so it doesn't look out of place or cheap.

      Make sure it is well done though, it would be very embarrassing to have them fall off as you fight.

        I found this on YT, it might give you an idea on how to put something like that together. Of course it might not be exactly the same thing but I believe you could take something away from the technique/method used. IN FACT at 1:13 there's a good idea... you could put that around the top of the shoe properly and it would look GOOD:

          I don't believe there's a rule against it. It was purely a decorative preference and some years ago it was very common to see boxers with tasseled boots. I could never see any reason behind it except that it may have been a transient fashion.

          My own opinion was that with those silly things flopping around with every move, they may have caught the eye, and taken the opponent's attention away for a moment.....
