I read yesterday Froch only has two options now, Chavez Jr. and Groves.

I do not follow TBR. They also have Froch as #1 despite the controversy behind his last fight like The Ring, and they have AA ahead of Bika like The Ring despite Bika being more relevant than him. They have Martin Murray as #6, despite him getting robbed against Martinez. They have Matthysse #1 just like The Ring, despite him losing his last fight and Provodnikov beating Alvarado.

They are no different than The Ring, they twist somethings here and there, but ultimately they go by official decisions just like The Ring so I don't see how they are these saviors of boxing and the corruption and incompetence in it.

The TBRB don't always get it right, but do try for a fairly unbiased rating - it's done through discussions and votes - sure, not everyone's gonna agree..

Tell you what..why don't you consistently post your monthly ratings for the top top ten in each division, maybe it'll gain some traction - in a few years 'Kevs rankings' might be the gold standard.

And FWIW the TBRB have a specific clause that allows them to go against official decisions if a wide majority of voters consider the official decision to be wrong.

In terms of the fight tho (forgiving my aside in the previous post) - Fonfara is about the highest ranked fighter (except Hopkins and Shumenov, obviously) that hasn't already been destroyed by either Kovalev or Stevenson.

The only other name at 175 is prospect Alvarez (who is also in action tonight) and possibly Bute / Pascal - the impact that Stevenson and Kovalev have made in the 175 division over the last 12 months is almost incomparable - between them they have annihilated almost every respected LHW name in just one year.

I don't see them as the saviours of boxing, but I think their rankings are somewhat better than the Ring and probably the best out there.

I don't agree on everything in their rankings either, but it's unlikely anyone ever would.

Guess Stevenson is just fatting his pockets

before the beatdown, & exposure he will get if he ever has the guts to fight "Crusher" Kovelev!
This is the fight all fight fans want to see.
Really surprised HBO is not forcing this fight... GBP would have made these dudes sign if they where on the SHO network as a PPV blockbuster main event!
Typical HBO tactics. Putting their stars against scrubs, then claiming its a marquee blockbuster event!

Stevenson should face up with Kovalev but he will never do that in the near future because Sergey woul destroy him if they faced up now.. but I'm really waiting for Stevenson-Kovalev fight to happen in 2014 and it should happen even though about the boxing politics, because they clearly are the best in their division! And the best should battle up over the crown between themselves!

                    Kovalev could fight Braehmer.
