Thurman is what boxing needs. I can see some people don't know boxing. Thurman improves in each fight and fights the right style of talent to get better. There was a reason miadana ducked him in 2012. His ko's are 20 not 2. Every fighter has been buzzed that's the sport. He has never been down, never stopped trying to win in every rough spot. He is better than Broner and I like Broner. Thurman will have a belt this year no matter if it's porter miadana Broner Alexander. All except mayweather and Bradley

Thurman is not overrated, its not about getting buzzed, its about making adjustments so you do not get hit with the same punch again ! So Floyd is overrated because he got buzzed by Mosley / Judah / Corley ? the standard people place on these fighters is crazy - in this game it is about adjustments, and Mr. Thurman has proven that he can make them, that is the sign of a good fighter - In this sport you have to focus for 48mins, soon as you slip you sleep or get beat! its not about spirts, its about the whole fight - Porter is good, but he beat Devon who hates pressure - I bet you they will not employ the same tactic against Thurman - a little history on the kid - he used to be the chief sparring partner for Winky Wright - the kid can GO !

thurman wants the big fights so it's not his fault, however it's quite clear he's been protected until now.

not really. he was put in with a huge puncher in diego chavez. 2 rugged guys karass & zaveck. he would been put in with maidana but chino pulled out, a blatant duck. he also was able to solve the carlos quintana puzzle with flying colors. name one welterweight in golden boy that thurman is being protected from

They take a more careful hand picked approach with Floyd Junior. They would never put a Thurman OR Porter in with Mayweather, for them both in their prime with speed & power, making them potential huge risk. Porter JUST won the title and they want to throw Thurman at him. What's wrong with making those quick decisions to throw Pacquiao or Maidana or Provodnikov or even Bradley in with Floyd.... They have to be soooooo careful who they select for Junior. He's such a weasel and only about the money. These other guys they are quick to throw them to the wolves; they don't give a crap.

floyd beats maidana's ass easy. the rest of the guys u named are top rank. i agree that floyd should fight one of these guys it would be a real fight unlike maidana or khan
