    Former world champion Cristian Mijares has signed a contract to secure his mandatory shot at Leo Santa Cruz, the super bantamweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC). The fight is scheduled to take place on the 8th of March at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The main event will feature a junior middleweight war between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Alfredo Angulo.
