I dont see how winning on friday night fights boost u up to ppv against the best at 140 but peterson seems to belive it!

The only problem with looking ahead is that he's about to face a pretty solid guy who has good skills every where. He can punch, box and is pretty quick and moves well. It's sounds like all the things that can pull off an upset.

Lamont Peterson the PED cheat is no match for Danny Garcia, the dude is an easy win, I rather see Danny Garcia face stiffer competition, and theres a few guys that can give Danny a great fight, and it aint Lamont Peterson that's for darn sure.

I see so many people saying that Peterson does not have anything to worry Garcia with..Maybe their right,but I would not bet on it..I see a very good fight between these two..I really hope it get's made if Peterson can get by Jean,I think it will be a very good fight..

Funny thing tho,most were picking Peterson to beat Garcia before he was stopped by Matt's..Now Peterson does nothing to give Garcia problems..This will be a good fight should it get made..

I'd prefer to see Garcia Matthysse II but if that can't be made I'd still like to see Garcia Peterson if lamont comes out on top against Jean of course. But Peterson is right if he can't get a meaningful fight at 140 after this fight he should just move up to 147. I guarantee its a struggle to make 140 at this point in his career. But I still wouldn't mind seeing Garcia Peterson at 147. It sounds like Garcia wants to make that move to 147 sooner than later as well.

DG has nothing to prove at 147. I'd like to see him move up to 140 and fight a top 20-30 contender.

I would like to see how Peterson does before I give him a chance. Matthysse might have cracked his chin. If performs well (and looks good) against Jean, then this might be a pretty good fight. Peterson could still be a top fighter at 140.

I agree here 100% but never the less I'll be attending the Peterson fight and I hope he wins so maybe we can have the unification fight here in DC as well..

If Peterson can get back to somewhere near his old self he could cause an upset. He's a busy, strong fighter who's probably quicker than Danny.

Danny has a speed advantage in this fight... but I have always been a fan of Lamonts workman like style... competitive fight for sure... I see Danny figuring him out and out pointing him.
