    the old saying is

if it dont make dollars, it dont make sense, right?

Well this makes TOO MANY DOLLARS.....f'ck em both at this point. Just an imaginary fight. Mayweather/Shafter dont want it, Arum dont want it. Hope they all rot in hell at this point. They give boxing a bad name......

Pacquiao already said Floyd had a chance to deal with his team directly when his contract with Arum expired two years ago. Did Mayweather take advantage of it? No. Pac renewed his contract in frustration to Floyd's pu55y behavior. Floyd is scared. That's the real issue.

But a true "boxing" fan who views the sport only for what it is, a sport, will not..

FMJ just doesn't like the fact that MP and Arum would make money "also" from this fight... That's it. If you love what FMJ brings to the table and would love to see his ultimate true potential, you would be rooting for this fight, not coming up with excuses as to why he hasnt or wont ever fight Manny...

Arum is just the latest excuse, that it all...
So these guys should just fight for free with no regard for livelihood or principles. Whether you as a "true fan" don't care for the business aspect of "prize fighting" doesn't change the fact that it's a business. Put yourself in Floyd's situation. Would you work with Arum again?

No he is not. It makes no difference if Arum is a huge crook. He and his team can easily talk to Arum and try to make the biggest fight in boxing. If they don't like what they are offered they just say no or make a counter offer. If the two sides can't come together and agree on terms and purse split at least they tried to make the fight. If they do come to terms everything is clearly spelled out on a legal contract and crook or not Arum can't cheat them. For Mayweather to not even try to make this fight most fans want to see because of his hate for Arum an Pacquiao is not against the law but it certainly is not reasonable. I guess he could still say Arum will pay off the judges but I think that would be grasping at straws.

What a ****** analogy. Floyd's being asked to fight for free now is he? What floyd gets is ringfenced from Arum anyway, so this is a complete dogturd of an excuse.

What Floyd makes shouldn't be a deal breaker. It shouldn't be Mannys concern at all. He's not a promoter. He doesn't work for the network. All he does is fight.

Yet what Manny gets should be? What a bunch of crap. What kind of boxing fan are you? Floyd's a fighter too, let the guys fight carve up the money, make more than they've ever made and *** off happy to count their cash. Stop trying to justify all these ****ing excuses...'Floyd da promoter as well as da fighter too doe' ****ing floydiots.

From what I've heard Mayweather Promotions is responsible for the opponents purse so yes he should and is concerned about what Manny makes. Manny situation is different. He's not writing any checks besides to the tax man.
