BoxingScene.com has been advised that a deal was reached for an IBF final super middleweight eliminator between Brandon Gonzales (18-0-1, 10KOs) and Maxim Vlasov (28-1, 14KOs). A purse bid scheduled for tomorrow is now canceled. Both fighters saw action three times last year. Gonzales recently parted ways with promoter Dan Goossen and may be heading to the stable of Gary Shaw. The winner of Gonzales-Vlasov will become the mandatory challenger for current champion Carl Froch.

never seen Vlasov fight but he has a good record and a decent boxrec rating. If Gonzales wins I wouldn't mind seeing him getting a title shot, he clearly deserved to beat Oosthuizen.
