You know for a fact, you'd go ballistic on a fighter you didn't like, for pulling that very same ****.
Yeah he would.
Tarver hasn't had such a great career with war after war after war that he deserves to get some great paydays against washed up guys. Hell, if you ask me he already did that against Jones.
Tarver should be fighting guys like O'Neill Bell, Glen Johnson, winner of Calzaghe/Lacy etc. Tarver is a good fighter, but not one who we should give the luxury of fighting has-beens without proper criticism.
I don't buy Roy Jones being a shot fighter. Jim Lampley and Emmanuel Steward basically said Roy still has all his speed during the 3rd Tarver fight. Fighting scared makes you fight a little differently, dontcha think? Tarver owns Roy.
tarver's a joke cuz he was calling out vitali klitschko and mike tyson. 'nuf said.
the klitschko fight is a HUGE mismatch and why the **** would tarver want to fight tyson, who just so happens to be RETIRED.
tarver's horrid performance in the 3rd fight with jones made me lose a lot of respect for tarver. but then he was calling out mike tyson. that made me lose the rest of my respect for tarver.
tarver's a joke, period. hes nowhere near as good as he says he is, he calls out fighters who are either retired or 3 times his size AND retired, he looks like a club fighter in his last fight, hes ugly as hell, his ranting and raving pisses me off, hes an old man, and hes thinking about going up to HW after his "movie"?
give me a ****ing break, antonio. you're the perfect example of a guy who believes his own hype.
Tarver is not exactly a joke, but I agree he's not what he claims, he doesn't seek challenges, and yes I would like to see him fight Bell because I think, Bell could knock him out. And for the record, somebody commented that Tarver would beat Mormeck because of Mormeck fading down the stretch? Hello have you watched Tarver over the last few years? He fades at the end a lot also.
