Where Chavez can dope all he wants, he'll make 168 alright.
They'll rig the damn scales so that Chavez makes weight, not to mention allow him to take all the diuretics he needs plus conveniently lose the drug test results.
Of course he won't, the mild penalty of $200,000 per pound is a clear indication of that. But if Vera agrees to that then he can't complain. He is the one who needs the fight anyways, Chavez Jr is still a big name regardless. Jr won the first fight and not just "officially", like he actually did deserve the victory. He clearly won at least 7 rounds of that fight which secured him the fight. The robbery claims are fueled by the big dislike some people have towards Jr, nothing more nothing less.
Vera will get KOd bad in the rematch.
Come on man...you have to admit he possibility that little Sergio ruined him. He now knows he isn't "elite" and got it handed to him. He did get lucky in the 12th but he had a 20 pound weight advantage and a massive height advantage yet still got the potential beaten out of him; he'll forever be haunted by the fact he was exposed by a man half his size.
There was nothing for Martinez to expose; everybody knew Jr was an overrated, overhyped, pampered paper champion, and virtually everybody expected Martinez to not only dominate him, but stop him.

It was a bad robbery the 1st time so who cares what happens second time. Vera is not elite and neither is Chavez.
