Call me crazy but I thought Ortiz would beat him. He had the power, speed (decent) and size.

I thought Ortiz was doing a good job early on by swarming Floyd even tho a lot of it wasn't landing clean. But like they say, to beat Floyd, tire him out by hitting arms, shoulders, etc.

I think Floyd felt threatened thus found the easy way out with the cheapshot. And no I'm not trolling.

lol I think a lot of us reacted the same way. I was at a fight party and everyone jumped! Didn't last long, did it? Floyd went into "Matrix-mode" soon thereafter, and any sliver of a chance of a Mosley upset went up in smoke.

Let me correct myself, I thought Ortiz had a shot.

          You're crazy. lol JK

I agree, Ortiz needed to swarm Floyd, which he was doing to decent effect; but I never gave Vic any real chance going in. If that fight had continued, Mayweather would've figured him out and started picking him apart. It takes massive stamina to apply effective pressure for twelve rounds, especially against a master like Floyd.

I don't want this to turn into a Floyd-Manny thread. I think it's safe to say that that fight (at least, three years ago) would've been about even odds. It's probably the only fight I can think of in recent memory that Mayweather had even odds of losing.

Hmmmm...I don't think I've ever picked against him.

The Zab fight for me. I felt the speed, power and southpaw stance would give him the most trouble. Obviously Zab is a mental midget so he lacked the biggest part which was mental toughness.
