      26. My father is a huge fight fan, which is what initially got me into it. I remember him having fight parties growing up. The first fight I remember watching is Bowe-Holyfield 3. I remember rooting for Bowe because I loved the nickname "Big Daddy," haha. I suppose my first favorite fighter was Rid**** Bowe. Everyone else was rooting for Holyfield.

          21 years old

Got fight night 2004 as a gift and I literally became obsessed with boxing! RJJ was a god to me.

playing the video game made me do backyard boxing with everyone in the neighborhood, then I wanted to be in the amateurs

          Thank you Roy lol
That's why I think they should make more fight night games! Sadly Champion ****** ballz

48 here....started watching boxing with my dad when I was 6 years old. Still remember watching Ali on Wide World of Sports and the 76 Olympics like it was yesterday. I can honestly say I haven't been buying PPV lately just feel with the money involved that a lot of the matches are scripted like WWE.

I could've written this. Hard to believe now that you could watch Muhammad Ali on free TV, but you have to pay for the "privilege" of watching Floyd fight anyone. And the '76 Olympics were magical for me. The U.S. squad was legendary, and the Cuban team kicked ass.

43, my whole family watches boxing like religion. I remember how big of a deal that SRL vs Duran and Hearns was.

Didn't get hardcore into it until the mid-eighties. I did the Golden Gloves, Empire State Games and the Metros. Too bad they have taken most of the tournaments out.
