Comments Thread For: Molina: Canelo Picked Easiest, Least Dangerous Option

IBF junior middleweight champion Carlos Molina says he was not surprised when Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs) announced that he would facing Alfredo Angulo on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. For several weeks, Molina and Angulo were the two frontrunners to get the March assignment. WBA interim-champ Erislandy Lara was never under serious consideration.

        Carlos is correct.
Alvarez-Angulo is higly disgusting senseless matchap.
Canelo is an overrated overhyped lowskilled piece of crap who's been yet ducking Lara for years.
        Mexican pusy like it is.
        He's done.

I will agree with Molina that he picked the easiest fight. But Canelo has no obligation to fight either plus they haven't been on a collision course. Also who is going to pay PPV for a Molina or Lara match? I still rather see Kirkland in there with Canelo.

It's true. Why fight Lara and Molina when you can fight angulo?

Molina just keeps fighting whoever they put in front of him. I hope we get that Lara fight

Please Lara - Molina II so Lara can collect some belts and maybe after that the pressure on Canelo rises so he sooner or later really have to fight him, i wanna see that silverspoon Goldenchild dismantled again. Cotto - Martinez also plays a huge factor, if Cotto wins Canelo will immediately jump to 160 and leave Lara behind him...but then a new duck will begin, an even more dangerous duck...GGG!

But im hoping that im wrong...i mean fighting Trout, May & Angulo is not bad, many people thought he would duck Trout (myself included) and proved us wrong and he definatly gets a pass for fighting Angulo after coming off a loss, this will be a tough night for him in there.

You can say the same thing about canelo vs angulo nobody wants to pay for that turd except this fight means nothing as well. At least if he fought Lara or Molina people could claim who is the best if any of those guys gets a win against each other they can claim superiority.
