South Africa is scrambling to make preparations for the visit of unbeaten boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather on Wednesday.

Mayweather informed the country's Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula that he would be coming to SA in a goodwill visit that will also include him hosting a gala dinner to auction his memorabilia as well as his fighting regalia at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on Saturday.

"He will also host a press conference where questions about the potential fight against Filipino Manny Pacquiao will not allowed to be asked."

Perfect. US already know what a moron he is, he needs to let the world know.

I hope no-one buys his PPV in May.

I'm glad no questions of Manny are allowed. This way he won't be using Pacquiao's name to build up his fight in May

They're not allowed to ask him questions about Pacquiao? He's a champion. He's says he's the best. Answering tough questions is part of the job. What a cowardly thing to do. If I'm at a press conferencing or interviewing someone, I should be able to ask what I want. That's a part of it.

I agree about tough questions but is this forum appropriate to answer questions about future opponents?

Because he's fake...this is just to boost his image so people will watch his fights. He saw how successful Manny was with it and now he wants that kind of media attention. The only difference is Manny is actually a nice guy.
