is it just me or does it seem like we have been waiting forever for some boxers opponents to be named mainly golden boy. I dont know if its an effort for gbp to keep their big fights in the spring but man im ready to start fillin up my calender with good fights lol

It was a slow start to last year as well. Didn't pick up until March/April and it looks like the case again this year. -
you could literally put garcia,matysee. maidana, broner, guerrero,porter, alexander, thurman, berto, list goes on and on even paulie, in a cup and start pulling names and all fights would be fun to watch. im impatient but im ready to hear about some good fights lolComment

Showtime is putting all their eggs in the Mayweather PPV basket. Many fans signed up for subscription because of boxing, especially when the rift started. Only to find that boxing is extremely rare. You're basically paying monthly payment only to wait for long periods of time. I really thought these record breaking PPVs earn huge profit and would enable them to make fights often. It's not the case, obviously.Comment

Yup it's really frustrating. Loads of injuries, pull outs, posturing, plus the 2 US network cold war are just some factors which seem to be worsening.
I think that's why a few guys like Roy and others are being more vocal, in reference to that last factor.Comment
