    Marquez vs Porter

I'm going with Porter. IMO, Porter's activity and power equals Provodnikov's power.

But I have a feeling Marquez is just throwing out names to distract us from the clear duck he is doing with Alvarado and Provodnikov. We all know Marquez cannot fight Porter nor Maidana due to promoter problems, and Marquez knows this.

    Neither, Marquez is clearly ducking

Porter is a tough fight. It would be interesting. 50/50 fight in my opinion

Unless marquez comes in focused he should beat porter by ud. Porter is nothing special imo hes got a great workrate and good power but hes there to be countered all night. As for ducking prov. And alvarado that bull and you know it neither bring anything to the table without a really good undercard itd sell less than 350k ppvs atleast with porter he had a chance at his 5th world title. And tbh porter is a much tougher fight than either

Porter hasn't shown me that he has the boxing ability to beat Marquez, Marquez is slowing down obviously but I'd still pick him to decision Porter and stop Provodnikov.

Fight won't get made but if it does I'll be looking for you for a bet.

No doubt, I'd bet all my points on Provodnikov, those are the kind of fighters Marquez eats up. While I really like Marquez against Porter, I also acknowledge that Porter does posses some tools that an aging Marquez may no longer be able to deal with but I'd bank on Marquez being fresh enough at the moment. I wouldn't bet all out in that one, but come see me if by some miracle it happens

I think Provodnikov's workrate would be too much for Marquez. Only way I can see a stoppage is if Provodnikov cuts up. But then again I expected Alvarado to do it and he didn't.

I voted Porter to win. Porter looked very fast in his fight with Alexander. Old age is taking it's toll on Marquez and although he punches like a hard hitting welterweight I think his true fighting weight is still 135. The fight could go either way but Porter is coming into his prime and getting better and Marquez is getting older and slower.
