I just cannot wait for Martinez to make the mistake of accepting a fight with Golovkin.
The fight can still be made.... even if Cotto fight did go off, he'd want a Canelo and Floyd fight. 1 more HBO fight and you bet HBO will push Golovkin down his throat.

Cotto is only fighting at 160 for the belt and no other reason beyond that but he seems to want it on his terms because he's in his own opinion the upside. Well sometimes being the upside just isn't enough especially when the other guy has something you really really want.
Cotto's dictating everything because Sergio's the one who needs him. IMO, Cotto can just go to Showtime and fight Canelo and Quillin if this isnt' made.

Martinez has 0 leverage period. Cotto will go to Peter Quillin for the belt simple as that. Martinez is just having second thoughts of him beating Cotto. So he wants to cash in a softy in before a potential losing fight.

They are either posing to see if Cotto budges(wich he wont) or they are scare and having second thoughts because they doubt they can beat Cotto or any top MW, so they want to cash in on a softy before fighting a tough fight, that he would probably lose.

Seriously... who gives a **** if Cotto is getting his way prior to fight. If Sergio whips his ass HE becomes the man and then make GGG fight him in Argentina. I mean seriously, Sergio's ***** ass can't handle not having his name second or come out first? Not to mention without Cotto, Sergio will have a date on HBO for maybe 1 million against a guy Cotto sparred with to prep for his Margarito fight. Please... Sergio is nothing more than a b*tch if passes on this fight and I will call it a legitimate duck. If you pass Cotto for any reason and you aren't fighting GGG instead you are a b*tch plain and simple.

I think is Cotto who is having second thoughts, because he is the one demanding evryting......like Martinez said he is disrespecting the Chapion with all his crazy demands.

Trout said the same exact thing, Cotto set all the conditions, and more, for Trout to be able to fight him.

i hope Martinez doesn't budge on this,,he's the champ and should be treated as a champ, who cares if cotto is more popular, cotto should so respect to the sport and the champion, cotto knows the fight will sell more because of him, isn't that enough?..cotto has been losing and now he just came back from beating a tv/sports commentator and he thinks he's a pound for pound fighter again and the boss

So either way he's not taking on a big threat. Sounds about right.
