Trainer Robert Garcia has not heard back from Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who was interested in securing Garcia's services. The two of them got together in October, around the time of the Timothy Bradley-Juan Manuel Marquez clash in Las Vegas. Garcia has not heard back from Chavez since a follow-up conversation in November. The former WBC middleweight champion is scheduled to return on March 1 in a rematch with Bryan Vera.
