Comments Thread For: Jorge Arce Expects To Return To The Ring on March 8

According to former multi-division champion Jorge Arce (62-7-2, 47KOs), he is going to return on March 8th in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Arce says young and coming prospect Oscar Valdez will also see action on the card. Arce would like to stay busy this year and he hopes that his promoter, Zanfer Promotions, can put together a fight with Juan Manuel Lopez on the proposed undercard to Miguel Cotto-Sergio Martinez on June 7th at New York's Madison Square Garden. Arce makes his second fight since returning last November after a brief retirement that lasted less than a year.

That would be a great undercard fight for Cotto vs Martinez. Arce vs JuanMa make it happen TR.

There's not much more that Travieso can do to enhance his already H.O.F. career.

Arce vs. Lopez is a decent scrap, but both guys are kind of washed up. I'd favor Lopez simply because he's naturally so much bigger than Arce.

This guy is the Marquez of the lower weight classes. Won't go away until he wins that title

                Really

Some boxers just don't know when to retire Arce, Marquez, Katsidis, Jones, Morales, and others.

What's the point in finding someone else who also has a name and who is also shot so they can have a fight? Needs to retire.

He's also ducking Rojas the same way Marquez is ducking Pacquiao and Provodnikov.
