The question you're asking is would Mayweather be willing to step up and test himself, are you really asking that?

Damn, I know it and so do alot of other people know it that Floyd is a duck!!
He sure as hell isn't going to move to 160lbs, let the duck hide down at 147lbs proclaiming that he isn't a jnr middleweight albeit that he holds gold at that division lol!

He refused to let Canelo weigh more than 152 so I think he would be a hypocrite if he fought for the middleweight title. He never won the lineal 154 pound title because he insisted on a catchweight. I think he will fight at 147 until he retires.

The answer is HE COULD win a title at 160. Even if he came in at 152 or therabouts... he is that good. Quillin or Sturm would be good options.

Martinze is right there for the taking, Mayweather is fool for not taking that fight. Winnable, and still would get tons of praise.

But when its comes to boxing he listens to the garbage his father tells him when it comes to match ups. Like the pointless catch weight on Canelo, which was not needed. That was his fathers idea. And his father is the one that was Pushing the Pac on Roids thing also, and Mayweather followed.

Sure but you cant fight those guys when Martinez and GGG are sitting there as belt holders. The world would explode if he ever did that.

If Cotto beats Martinez, Mayweather will win a title at middleweight.

He'll jump all over that opportunity but he'll be ridiculed and rightfully so for not fighting GGG or even Lara or someone like Kirkland if he were to beat Canelo or Lara etc...

I can see Mayweather even beating Martinez at this stage.
