Different demands but nothing Pacquiao couldn't do (especially since he all of a sudden could do it four years later against a C class lightweight). Ahh well...you make your own bed, you have to lay in it. Lesson learned.Comment

I agree, the fight Is five years late and I without a doubt will also pay for It. I think what will potentially kill this fight from a financial perspective Is a loss from either man, especially Floyd. His undeafeated record plays a vital role and Is a major selling point when It comes to selling PPV's. Another loss from Pacquiao also IMO kills any more talk of this fight happening. I can't see Floyd taking a loss at this point but at 37 years old anything Is possible.Comment

Something tells me if Manny was the one making the OSDT demands your post would read more like " Who was Manny Pacquiao to make that kind of demand to the best fighter in the world"
I'll ask you this..why when Manny sued Floyd for defamation and requested Floyd's testing results why couldnt they just show him and not settle for a hefty sum? Wouldnt he just show him he was clean? Thats the same logic you use for Manny just taking the test to prove he was clean.Comment

Smh.
For you to have Holyfield as your picture, says how awesome you may be, BUT you are wrong on this one. We all know and get the feeling that based on his past, Manny will fight ANYONE. That is a fact. What we have learned about Floyd over the years, is that, he's insecure, he's a hater of others accomplishments, and he's afraid to challenge himself against the very best. This fight not happening has very little to do with money, and more to do with one fighter being afraid to possibly lose. If Floyd wanted to fight Manny, he'd have done it 4-5 years ago. He simply doesn't want to fight the other greatest fighter of his era. Manny isn't ******. He KNOWS that Floyd is full of bs and is afraid he may lose. He said so just yesterday. Look it up. The one who is quiet, is the one you should worry about, and who is that? That is Manny Pacquiao.Comment

He certainly is not losing this year vs Khan and Maidana. If Manny fights Tim and Marquez then he certainly could and probably would.I agree, the fight Is five years late and I without a doubt will also pay for It. Nah. In fact, I remember when Roach said that Manny had "agreed" to the testing how happy everyone on these boards were. We really thought we were gonna get the fight. Then the truth came out days later.Something tells me if Manny was the one making the OSDT demands your post would read more like " Who was Manny Pacquiao to make that kind of demand to the best fighter in the world"

Second, Manny sued for demation in 2010 and didn't get a settlement for two years. He also asked for the medical records about seven months before the suit was settled. Next time you read an article you should probably read between the lines too. Of course, I don't blame you for bringing that up...can't defend Manny's actions so a new subject is needed. At the end of the day, he walked away from 50-50 because he didn't wanna give blood. Blood he would give against Brandon Rios. Like I said, you make your bed...lay in it.Comment

Yeah I can agree with this for the most part. I can differentiate his public persona from the woman abusing psychopath pretty clearly and come to NSB to talk about the fighter, and the man when I have to. But the sense I get from some is that Mayweather can do absolutely nothing right and they take every chance to ridicule him. That sort of mindless hate bothers me a lot and it makes me wonder what the agendas of some are?I think It's his demeanor, arrogance, assertiveness. There were actually many that came before him, such as Ali,Haye,Toney,RJJ,Hopkins,Hamed ect. That's not to say that there are not people that base there hate for him,on his color. I guess to some degree, some of what you see with Mayweather Is an act, as he stated In an Interview ,some of what I do in public is me, and some of it is playing a character. You figure out which is which. The fact of the matter Is, being hated has made him alot of money and being where he came from, that Is a major accomplishment. There Is no denying his figting ability and buisness sense.
The logic is you absolute, utter and complete idiot is that I can criticise Manny and not hate him. I'm not a nincompoop like yourself, I can actually entertain contradictory beliefs and still be consistent. Which is to say I love Mayweather the fighter but despise the man. Can you read or is your obviously severe mental ******ation preventing that? Just curious moron.DUDE YOU STRAIGHT UP BULLSHITTED AND I CALLED YOU OUT. You ****** or something? You been talking trash about Manny, and then you say you don't dislike him? What kind of ******ed logic is that? Do you even read your own posts? Damn you're ******, lol. "I live to oppose people like you" LOL what are you 12 years old? Who talks like that?
The funny thing is, you'll probably start being cautious of what you write from now on just to "prove" you "don't dislike" manny, so good luck with that, lol.
And no I won't be cautious, the same disdain I feel for Manny the bumbling incompetent fighter is going to be expressed the same way. Manny's a disgrace, he took what should have been a golden ticket to retirement and sold it for a rock solid partnership with Koncz, Ariza and Arum. What kind of ****ing idiot resigns with a slave master that's out to milk him dry? ****ing dumbass. Sorry I digress, I merely meant to illustrate that I won't be changing my approach here b1tch.

Floyd was taking too so why is it a "Yes sir" that's what it took to make the fight. See Floyd fans wanted Pacquiao to take them and Pacquiao fans said " Pacquiao don't have to take orders from Floyd" so who really wanted the fight to happen? The tests should have been nothing like the weight penalty was for Floyd. I find it so funny that posters who are fans of Manny think it was ok for Manny to refuse the tests because it was Floyd asking for them? Floyd came in over weight for Marquez but didn't scare him to agree. Why should it be a problem with Manny if he never tested positive before? So, Manny being arguably the #1 draw at that time should have said "yes sir mr. mayweather, I'll do whatever you want" ?
You're comparing making weight, which all professional boxers should do anyway to taking OSDT which NOBODY had done?
Guess he shouldn't have pushed back to any of Floyds demands then.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 01-14-2014, 02:05 PM.Comment
