You're welcome bro, but to continue, does Floyd make it easy or are people looking for someone to hate and an African American is the perfect vessel? A black that's outspoken and in some ways uncompromising? Is Floyd perfect to hate because he's black? I struggle with this at times here at NSB, I do indeed.

I dont think it's because he's black. He's brash, he hits women, he flaunts his wealth in a time of economic recession. Remember Prince Naseem Hamed? People loathed that guy as well for some of the same reasons.
And why do people hate on Manny? Is it because they hate his people? I doubt it. Of course you're gonna run into racist ******s everywhere but for the most part it's probably frustration over the fight not happening.

I don't dislike Manny. Any man that climbs into the ring and risks all and sometimes for so little earns my respect outright. I respect Manny the warrior, the man that laces up his gloves and lets his fists go like mother****ing lighting, yeah I do respect that because I want to see a good fight too.

What I don't respect is Manny's promoter, how Manny's chosen to stick with a crook, how he seems to passively acknowledge the responsibilities of his life. I think its interesting how much hate Floyd gets from people here you'd think this was a religious website frequented by moral paragons that have nothing to hide, no agendas, or anything duplicitous like that. Here's how I see it after reading these forums for a while. Manny fans actually want the fight to happen and Floyd fans accept every reason for the fight never happening. I'm a fan of both guys but I know for a fact Manny would fight Floyd tomorrow if Arum said that's the opponent. Floyd, I'm not so sure....

I don't think it for this reason, perhaps its for the others you named. This is America, a lot of people are flaunting their wealth, we're a culture of excess and we honor the excessive. People loathed the Prince because he was ****y and ultimately he couldn't back that up (joke), Floyd has and that pisses people off. There's this inherent need to punish the brash trash talker.

The frenzy that surrounds Manny Pacquiao is ****ing disgusting. I can almost guarantee whatever hate Manny gets is because of his fans. Link? I expect Pacquiao fans to ride with him because if they don't then they are not "REAL" Pinoys like he said when so many were saying that Marquez won the 3rd fight.
