Distance and Timing-an underrated trait
Collapse

When you have distance and timing it cuts workrate and negates power and equalizes speed. You see punches coming so even if a punch gets through you see it and can roll with it or brace yourselfComment

Lmao my boy!
We seriously gonna act like this wasn't a reply thread to the video of the guy saying Manny won't struggle with Floyd.
Really? Really? Reeeeeeally?
You're only now saying this, because Sugar Adam Ali gave you a response you weren't expecting, and now you're rolling with it.
As soon as I read this thread title and saw it was from Larry we all knew it was about Floyd

I like how he tries to play it off with the thread title. This lame dude is always making threads about other threads.
In all seriousness tho, Mayweather's timing compares to none other. One of the greatest timings ever. I mean, retired when the WW division was hot and coincidentally came back after it died down.Comment

distance and timing are not physical talents.
you can develop your ability to gauge distance and time punches. you don't walk into a gym with them.
you walk into the gym with your speed and your power [your chin, too.] those are talents or "traits."Comment

The first time I went to a gym the ol man there told me
"Keep your hands up, eye level, but keep them out not close to your face. This is your fence, you don't let anyone come into your front yard, if you see them coming.. get out the way and punch them in the ****in face."
Do all old white men use analogies like Teddy Atlas does? lol
I remember learning the right hand.. "you smoke cigarettes? well if you do, turn that foot like you puttin out ya cigarette"Comment
