There are some clues in the complete Maidana interview published in a newspaper from his native province of Santa Fe a few days ago (6th January).

Chino says that he wants Mayweather this year. "If this is not agreed, at most I will fight in Argentina. If the (Mayweather) fight is not agreed, it is difficult for me to fight abroad".
