They don't have to sign him just to fight Manny anyway. .just give him a one time deal then send him off battered and bruised...Comment

The Ghost keeps digging himself deeper and deeper. he should have went for broke in the Floyd fight like he did with Berto. Instead he pulled some ****** $h!t and sat in he middle of the ring and tried to box. Then he ducked Thurman and is now trying to break free of his contract. What a fool. Having a fight is better than having no fight.Comment

I don't think TR is too interested in signing him...he doesn't possess the kind of excitement alvarado, prov and rios bring when they fight nor has he accomplished anything close to bradley or pac. aydin and berto have been horribly exposed these past two years...They are lying. Why would they immediately say no one would want to see him fight Pac if they weren't thinking about him fighting Pac? That is how these promoters operate, they strongly deny the things that they actually have intentions on doing. They could easily sign the Ghost because he is a welter weight and TR only has like 4 decent welters and the public is more than done with the rehashed matchups.
They could put him up against Alvarado or Provodnikov or Bradley. Pac is the first name they refute which means they are thinking about pitting him against Pac. It provides another comparison between how Floyd and Pac fared against a common opponent, just like Mosley, Hatton, Cotto and DLH did.
Then you have Floyd's own dad saying that if Pac wants to fight Floyd, he needs to beat either Canelo or Guerrero. It's pretty clear what is going on here.
the determining factor with refusing to sign guerrero is that he has no fanbase whatsoever...he's failed as a ppv fighter and he's been inactive. hbo has been very picky with the fights they buy (with the exception of european fighters whom they either groom or offer optional broadcasting deals). he's probably demoted himself to being an undercard fighter so it doesn't make sense for a major promotional company to sign him at this pointComment
