Paul Williams vs Floyd Mayweather at 147

    Who wins? And why?

I got Williams by decision. His height, length and insane punch output would have been a huge challenge for Floyd. Williams was a tough out for anyone...

Floyd wanted no parts of Paul Williams. Floyd should have fought Margarito and Williams back when 147 was hot. Classic Floyd he sits back and watches everyone beat each other up and say see I told you about that guy.

A prime 147 pound Williams would be a hard fight for Mayweather but I am sure he would solve any problems Williams gave him. Fighters with high punch output usually see that output drop when they fight Mayweather. I can't remember the guy's name but Williams was soundly outpointed by this guy at welterweight and the guy was not remotely as skilled as Mayweather. Williams KOed the guy in the first round of the rematch but that does not make that loss go away. Williams was easy to hit cleanly even in his welterweight prime. I am sure Williams would hit Mayweather often and Mayweather does not like to take much punishment which might be why he never fought Williams. I think Mayweather would hit Williams even more often and win a hard fought Ud. Still Williams was the best welterweight around and fans have every right to ask why Mayweather never fought him.
