Medrick Taylor vs. Chavez hands down in my mind. Taylor was 2 seconds away from a convincing unanamious descision to losing the fight. The ref should have been murked for stopping that fight...

that was way too close to the end to stop it.
yeah he stopped it for his safety but i agree with it because chavez did more damage had the best punches but didnt show till late so maybe the fact that he had harder punches would of won him rounds but taylor was buissier. and chavez did enough damage to win him the fight you think steel wouldnt of stopped it if taylor was againts the ropes and kept getting caught with hard punchez

I guess most of them have been named.

One great effort was Ricardo Mayorga vs Tito
He took power shot after power shot and then LET tito hit him with more power shots. Then keep coming forward fighting hard.

People 4get that Mayorga scored a flash knockdown with a clubbing right hand that made tito touch the canvas.

Yeah, if Jirov would've fought the whole fight, he'd have easily finished Mesi off. Good one...

You really, really need to see Corrales/Castillo I. The other two, particularly Lewis-Holyfield, are well worth watching as well. If you're a relatively new fight fan, here's some fights you need to watch:
Corrales-Castillo I, The Gatti-Ward Trilogy, Toney-Jirov, Hopkins-Trinidad, Trinidad-Vargas, De la Hoya-Vargas, Holyfield-Tyson I, Hatton-Tszyu, Pacquiao-Morales I & II, The Barrera-Morales Trilogy, Mosley-De la Hoya I, Wright-Mosley II, Quartey-De la Hoya, Quartey-Vargas, Corrales-Casamayor I & II, Bell-Mormeck, Mormeck-Braithwaite, and Brewster-Klitschko just for starters. Those are all somewhat recent fights. Get your hands on as many of those as possible. Then try to get a hold of the great Middleweight bouts of Leonard, Hearns,Hagler, and Duran- especially vs. each other. I'd also try to find some Ali fights- Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Norton, etc. Once you get into boxing, you'll be hooked. Good luck.

But Leonard won the fight. I'm talking losing efforts. Not come-from-behinds.
