If this fight is worthy of a rematch then Garcia vs Matthysse is also worthy and that was a closer fight then this one. Come on Schaefer get that rematch done as well.

Well, Golden Boy should make themselves clear about the promotion of this fight. IT IS Maidana-Broner 2, and not Broner-Maidana. I like Broner a lot, but people should give Maidana the respect he deserves!

I would overall go with Maidana in the rematch but stranger things than Broner winning have happened in the sport. The only way I give Broner a chance is if A) he rushes out and gets a quick KO by catching Maidana cold or B) he gets a trainer who can teach footwork, that is, if he can learn this in time or is even capable of having better footwork because solid footwork is what accentuates blocking and slipping punches which he would need to do.

Garcia was the champion and money maker. So was broner. Champ and money maker basically is in charge and there was no controversy

I think Maidana will make some adjustments to take out Broner early. MM was supposed to make Broner look good on his first PPV fight, he was handpicked.

Now having more confidence knowing he beat Broner convincingly, I think he will be more of a beast. Trust me, Maidana will make adjustments for a KO win, he knows Broner's weakness. He will revised and make a better blueprint.

and LOL at Broner not being focused for the first fight.

He should have listened to Floyd. Let your team pick your opponent NOT the fans, 0's are more important.

After Paulie and Maidana fights, I would say the boxing community more or less reached a consensus: Broner doesn't belong to 147 (at least for the moment), mainly because he is hurt by punchers at this weight but he can't hurt them. He also doesn't throw enough punches, plus he is too stationary.

If this consensus is right, how could Broner fix all this in three months?

Broner can fix some things. For example, that Maidana left hook that tormented him from start to finish, but would be this enough to change the outcome?

Broner needs people in his corner that he actually listens to. He runs his corner during fights and that's not gonna cut it. I wonder if Garcia is keeping Ariza around.

Only difference is..... Broner wants the rematch while Matthysse hasn't uttered a word about fighting Garcia again.

                      1.JMM Brutal KO of MP.
2.Maidana destruction of Broner via Violence.

                      In that order.
Matthysse getting beat by Garcia after all the talk and hype about him has to be 3rd. At least it is for me.
