Rematch happens then I hope Maidana knocks Broner out. Broner never made any adjustments in their first fight so unless he makes some major changes, he has no chance. I also hope there is a better referee. Broner should have lost points for pushing and hitting after the bell in their first fight.

So now Floyd ends up fighting the dangerous Khan that has beaten.. ehmm.. like no one worth a damn recently. On the other hand Broner gets a second chance to try out his MMA and see if with enough elbows and kicks, the judges do their job right and hand over the title to the one they are supposed to. What a sad joke this sport has become.Comment

Hit after the bell.. Holding the head down, pushing..leaping in to save his life when he out on his feet... And let's not forget the weird long ass countsRematch happens then I hope Maidana knocks Broner out. With a better ref Maidana stops BronerComment

Well Schaeffer said there was none, so I don't know what he meant by right to a rematch.
There is no contractual clause that would mandate a rematch between newly crowned welterweight titleholder Marcos Maidana and now-deposed Adrien Broner, whom Maidana topped by unanimous decision on Saturday night. Nevertheless, Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions said immediately afterward that he “wouldn’t mind a rematch.” That would easily be doable, given that Golden Boy works with both Maidana and Broner.Comment

Then maybe they made up some ghostly clause for the public so that Mayweather has an excuse to fight Khan.Originally posted by hougigoQuote:

Yea, I remember Schaeffer saying that too
Something like: Well, Maidana had to rematch Broner so Mayweather had no choice but to fight Khan.

Don't know WTF they waiting for...just announce itComment
